Our website is hosted on Vercel. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

QuickBooks Online Integration

Tero Power operates a private, internal, read-only integration between its own QuickBooks Online company file and Tero Brain, its internal company knowledge base. The integration is described in full on the QuickBooks integration page. It is used only against the Tero Power company file and is not offered to any other business.

What the Integration Reads

Invoices, bills, payments, bill payments, customers, vendors, chart of accounts, company information, employees, time activities, and the file names of documents attached to transactions. Employee records and time activities contain personal information about our own staff, including name, contact details, pay or billing rate, and hours recorded against jobs.

The integration requests the QuickBooks accounting scope only. It does not request or use the QuickBooks Payments or Payroll APIs, and it never reads or stores card numbers, bank account numbers or any other payment credential. It reads only. It cannot create, change, void or delete anything in QuickBooks.

How That Data Is Used and Who Can See It

It is used solely so that the directors of Tero Power Inc. can ask questions about the company accounts and receive answers that cite the underlying records. Answers are produced with the help of an AI assistant operating over our own stored records. That data is not used to train any AI model, and it is not used to make automated decisions about any individual.

Accounting data sits in a restricted area of Tero Brain readable only by the directors of Tero Power Inc. It is not visible to employees, contractors, customers or any other party. We do not sell, rent or share it, and we do not use it for marketing.

Where That Data Is Held

On servers operated by Tero Power Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Access credentials are stored server side at restricted file permissions, encrypted in transit and at rest, and are never held in a browser or on a personal device.

Ending the Connection and Deleting the Data

A QuickBooks Online user with the Admin role can end the connection at any time in QuickBooks Online under Settings, then Apps, then Manage, then Disconnect. Collection stops immediately. To have records already collected deleted, email info@teropower.com. Employees may ask what personal information about them the integration holds and request its correction or deletion, using the same address.
