Text Messages from Tero Power

Last updated: October 2026

Who sends these texts

Tero Power Inc., a commercial solar construction company in Ontario, Canada, sends text messages from (866) 819-0999. We text only job applicants and new hires who said yes to texts, and only about their job. We never send marketing or promotional texts from this number.

What we text you about

  • Booking your interview, and reminders before it.
  • The next step in your application, and our hiring decision.
  • If you are hired: the onboarding steps still missing, and your first-day details (site address, start time, what to bring).
  • Short check-ins during your first weeks with us.

If you are hired, the yes you gave still applies. If you did not say yes, we send these messages by email.

How you agree to receive texts

Texts are optional. We text you only after you tick a box on our own web page. It works in three steps.

1. Our email. After you apply for a Tero Power job, our first email invites you to book an interview. The email also has a private link to your text consent page.

The Tero Power invite email. It says: Do you want texts about your interview, for example a reminder the day before? Say yes here: texts from Tero Power. Texts are optional. Without a yes, we use email only.
Step 1: the email with the link to the text consent page.

2. Our text consent page. The page shows your mobile number, which you can change. It has one box, and the box is not ticked for you. Next to the box, the page tells you who texts you, what about, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and how to reply HELP or STOP. It links to this page, our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. See an example of the page.

The Tero Power text consent page. Mobile number field, then an unticked box: Yes, Tero Power Inc. can text me at this number about my job application and, if I am hired, my job with Tero Power. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to stop at any time. Then a Save my answer button.
Step 2: the text consent page. The box is never ticked for you.

3. Our confirmation text. When you tick the box and save, the page thanks you, and we send one text to confirm.

The thank you page, and the confirmation text: Tero Power: You will get texts about your job application or your job with us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to stop texts
Step 3: the thank you page and the confirmation text.

You do not have to say yes to apply, to get an interview, or to be hired. Your answer does not change how we review your application. If you do not tick the box, we contact you by email only. You can also say yes by texting START to (866) 819-0999.
