Tero Power is a commercial and industrial solar company built for this moment in Ontario: incentives that cover a large share of project cost, equipment at historic lows, and grid rates that keep rising. We help companies generate power from their own buildings — and we build for developers who deploy at scale.
We do the whole job with one accountable team. Development and economics, engineering and permits, construction with our own crews, and operations for the long life of the system.
Our leadership team combines founders who have built and scaled national service businesses, capital markets and project finance experience, 15+ years of Ontario solar development and engineering, and a delivery track record of hundreds of completed solar projects.

Co-Founder & CEO
Twenty years founding and leading companies in energy efficiency, healthcare, and biotech, most recently as CEO of a NASDAQ-listed company. Has raised over $850M of growth capital, taken multiple companies public, and completed more than $1B of acquisitions.
Duncan Ramage
Co-Founder & Executive Chair
Private equity and energy finance. Founder and CEO of Circle Bay Capital, investing in energy transition and infrastructure. Previously led private equity at Forum Asset Management and principal investing at Macquarie Capital. INSEAD.
Ben Mazur
Estimating & Procurement
Twelve years of Ontario rooftop solar construction. Founder of Ecogrid Energy: 108+ projects and 22,000+ panels delivered. Its crew and equipment joined Tero Power in July 2026.
Ali Charmforooshan
Site Foreman
Master's degree in electrical engineering. Eleven years of solar construction: two 1 MW rooftop builds and DC terminations on more than 50 projects, with zero accidents.
Michael Pohlod
Power Markets Advisor
Has managed and advised on over 3 GW of distributed energy resources across North America. Deep expertise in the Ontario market, and a member of the IESO Technical Panel since 2023.

Safety Is Not Negotiable
At Tero Power, safety is the foundation everything else is built on. Every crew member is trained in solar-specific safety protocols — from working at heights and electrical safety to DC arc flash awareness and lockout/tagout procedures.
Solar construction presents unique hazards that most general contractors aren't equipped for. Our people understand the difference between AC and DC electrical systems, the risks of working on energized photovoltaic arrays, and the specific fall protection requirements for rooftop and ground-mount installations.
Quality control is equally non-negotiable. We build to engineered specifications, we document every step, and we stand behind our work.
