What Tero Power Does
We do the whole job with one accountable team: development and economics, engineering and permits, construction with our own crews, and operations for the long life of the system.
Development and Economics
We screen your sites from aerial imagery and turn your utility data into an indicative proposal, typically within one week. We prepare the incentive and tax-credit applications as part of the job, so you see the economics before you commit capital.

P.Eng.-stamped design, permits, and the utility interconnection application. We coordinate the installation method with your roofing manufacturer before construction, so the roof warranty stays intact.
Construction With Our Own Crews
Our crews build commercial rooftop, ground-mount and carport systems, and repower aging arrays. Build, inspection and commissioning typically take 6 to 16 weeks by system size, while your facility keeps running.

We build commercial-scale battery energy storage systems, standalone or co-located with solar. Storage supports peak shaving, load shifting, demand charge reduction and backup power.

Our Own Crews, Not Borrowed Ones
Many solar contractors subcontract the installation labour. We build with our own trained crews, under our own processes and project management, from the first site visit to the final inspection.
One Accountable Team, Screening to Operations
Most projects pass between a developer, an EPC contractor and a separate operations firm. At Tero Power one team develops, engineers, builds and operates the system, so one team answers for the result.
A Licensed Electrical Contractor
Many installers subcontract the electrical scope. Tero Power holds ECRA/ESA licence 7018973 and does the DC and AC electrical work itself, with $5M of general liability insurance and P.Eng.-stamped designs.
No Cost Before a Firm Proposal
Screening and pre-feasibility run at our cost. You commit capital only after a firm proposal, and you can stop at any gate before that.

Our Story
The Team Behind Tero Power
Tero Power is a commercial and industrial solar company built for this moment in Ontario: incentives that cover a large share of project cost, equipment at historic lows, and grid rates that keep rising. We help companies generate power from their own buildings, and we build for developers who deploy at scale.
Our leadership team combines founders who have built and scaled national service businesses, capital markets and project finance experience, 15+ years of Ontario solar development and engineering, and a delivery track record of hundreds of completed solar projects. The crew and equipment of Ecogrid Energy, which built more than a hundred solar projects in Ontario, joined Tero Power in July 2026.

Safety Is Not Negotiable
At Tero Power, safety is the foundation everything else is built on. Every crew member is trained in solar-specific safety protocols, from working at heights and electrical safety to DC arc flash awareness and lockout/tagout procedures.
Solar construction presents unique hazards that most general contractors aren't equipped for. Our people understand the difference between AC and DC electrical systems, the risks of working on energized photovoltaic arrays, and the specific fall protection requirements for rooftop and ground-mount installations.
Quality control is equally non-negotiable. We build to engineered specifications, we document every step, and we stand behind our work.
