Incentives
About 65% of the cost, covered
The IESO Save on Energy incentive (currently 77¢/W AC) and the 30% refundable federal Clean Technology investment tax credit apply directly against capital cost. With accelerated first-year depreciation on top, about 65% of a typical system's cost is covered.
Equipment
Historic lows
Panel prices are near historic lows after years of steady decline. The same system costs a fraction of what it did five years ago.
Grid rates
One direction
Ontario commercial electricity rates have risen for years, and the supply outlook points up. A system on your roof is hedged supply at a discounted rate. Doing nothing is the expensive option.
Grid carbon
2× since 2020
Ontario's average grid emissions factor has more than doubled since 2020. Every solar kilowatt-hour now avoids more carbon, typically displacing gas-fired generation, and trims what you spend on offsets.
Flexible financing
Facility owners typically own their rooftop solar: the incentives are designed for ownership. It does not have to be capital out of pocket. We also offer a PPA-style structure with no upfront capital and savings on your energy bills from day one.
Timing and rebate changes
The IESO Save on Energy incentive moved from 86¢/W to 77¢/W in June 2026 and is due for review again in fall 2026. Pre-approved projects keep their rate.

Your utility data and roof documents become an indicative proposal, typically within one week, at our cost.
Feasibility & Firm Proposal
Site visits and full feasibility on selected sites lead to a firm proposal.
Engineering
P.Eng.-stamped design, permits, and the utility interconnection application.
Construction
Build, inspection, and commissioning by one accountable team — typically 6–16 weeks by system size.
Operations
Monitoring, maintenance, and production and savings reporting — for 25+ years.
